I may have to try to make this for our Valentine's dinner!

Lifetime Membership
Yesterday I finally reached my goal of being a Lifetime Member of Weight Watchers. I am so excited, I never thought I would make it this far. If you don't know what a Lifetime Member is, it is when you reach your weight loss goal and maintain it for 6 weeks. Once you become lifetime you can attend meetings and weigh in without paying. It is really neat. I love Weight Watchers and really believe that it is a program that works. I started weight watchers when I was in law school about 8 years ago. I went off and on to meetings and lost a total of 28 pounds. It is a continuing journey and lifestyle change and I am really happy and comfortable with where I have come.
During the meeting, my leader Michelle (who is AMAZING) announced to the group that I graduated to Lifetime had me come up to say a few words. Greg came to the meeting to support me and all the members applauded him and went a little crazy, I think he got more attention that I did! LOL They all came up to me to congratulate me but then to tell him "You are the best husband on earth." It was very cute (and he is the best husband on earth!). This is a photo of the key chain you get when you make lifetime, I have been very excited about it. Also Kudos to my good friend, who I am not sure if she wants to be named on here but she is a great friend and she started weightwatchers about 8 weeks or so ago and has lost 16 pounds! AMAZING!
I know I owe a blog post about the new business that my sisters and mom and I are starting together, it is in the super early stages but I will post some pictures and blog about it this weekend. It is super exciting. Have a great day!

Diaper Cake, part 2.
I haven't blogged in a while. I went to KC for my sisters shower and then I got sick and well, you know the drill. I also have a real problem with downloading pictures to my computer. I think it may just be laziness, which is bad since it is so easy to do!
Connie's shower was super fun and exciting and my sister Christina and my mom and I made all the centerpieces. The theme was Dr. Suess. Sorry to show 2 diaper cakes in a row but how cute are these?
New blog post coming tonight about my anniversary celebration and my mom and sisters and I starting a business! Very exciting.....

Diaper Cake
A couple of years ago, for my sister's baby shower, one of our family friends, Fran, made Christina the most amazing diaper cake. I mean it was AMAZING. I still don't think I have seen one like it. Anyway, it inspired me and since then, I started making them and I have to say, I just don't believe that you can have a baby shower, or a baby for that matter, without a diaper cake. I have been making and selling them a bit here and there and giving them as gifts. Here is my most recent, for a baby boy. I just love it. I think I am going to start an etsy shop or a website but I need a good name.....My approach to diaper cakes it that yes, the diapers will be used, but that the cake should match the nursery so it can be a decoration in the nursery for at least a few weeks, so I never use newborn diapers.
I am apparently making a bunch of Dr. Suess themed cakes for my other sister's shower next weekend, will post pics of those then.
And no, I still don't have an anniversary dinner dress, but wasn't the lunch hour specifically invented for trips to the mall??? I think so.

The dress I want at a price I don't.
Dear BCBG, why is this dress $400? Does it have real diamonds sewn in? I tried it on and it was so flipping cute, but $400? Come on, that is a car payment.
I can't decide what to do, I really want this for our anniversary dinner...SAD.
The problem is, where in the hell else can I wear a white dress? I can't wear it after labor day, I can't wear it to a wedding or a wedding shower or a wedding rehearsal dinner. That is right ladies, just in case you wondered I had a girl wear a white dress to my rehearsal and my wedding, how sickingly ignorant and rude is that???? I still owe her a smack in the face...
I would buy it if I had somewhere else to wear it. UGHHHH...Please weigh in friends.....

White Dress???
I am so excited for my one year anniversary but I need to find something cute to wear to dinner. I am thinking a super cute dress in a white or off white. My friend found this on nordstrom.com and it is adorable but it looks like you may need to buy an extra few inches on the bottom or wear with pants?!?!?! If you are petite or a model this could be a nice rehearsal dinner dress. I don't do short, so I am gonna keep looking......
During my hunt for the perfect anniversary dinner dress, I also found this Amsale dress. It may be a little fancy but I love it. I love everything Amsale but this is probably outside of my anniversary dress budget...This would also be perfect for a bride's rehearsal dinner or shower dress.
